Moda Operandi, the luxury retailer that pioneered the online Trunkshow, announces its collaboration with international design and interiors magazine Cabana. Moda Operandi, co-founded by Lauren Santo Domingo and Cabana, founded by Martina Mondadori Sartogo, are both highly revered as tastemakers in their industries, leading to a seamless partnership between the brands. Vibrant pops of color, natural motifs, and playful textures adorn this summer-inspired assortment.
Exclusive to Moda Operandi, the collection curated by Sartogo features pieces from luxury home ware designers Laguna B, Richard Ginori, Décors Barbares, Zsuzsanna Nyul, and Atelier Houria Tazi, as well as custom pieces by Cabana inspired by vintage ceramics, textiles, and glassware from the north of Italy. “I love to entertain— that’s no secret, but there is certainly an art form to it,” said Lauren Santo Domingo. “I don’t know anyone who will argue a better way to spend a Summer evening than a dinner al fresco surrounded by good company and this collection is perfect for that.”
“Hospitality and entertaining are true to Cabana’s world and magazine ethos and philosophy. We are therefore very pleased of this collaboration that will bring Moda Operandi a collection of very vibrant and summery tableware. As with everything Cabana, the items will be full of patterns, especially floral and will focus on pinks, saffron, and green tones and shades,” said Martina Mondadori Sartogo.
The 50 piece collection will be available to preorder on Moda Operandi’s website from April 28- May 26 as well as on display at Moda Operandi Madison, the by-appointment showroom, from May 4 through May 12 for clients to shop the collection in person.
Moda Operandi and Cabana identify with a similar client who loves to entertain and values both unique design and genuine craftsmanship. The collection represents each brand’s core value of being at the forefront of creativity and fashion, as well the natural synergy that exists between these two industries.
