Break your fast this Ramadan with a special three-course sharing set menu for just Dhs250
As Dubai prepares to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan, Pai Thai is offering its customers a treat for the taste buds with its three-course special set menu. Inviting guests to share the ceremonial breaking of the fast with loved ones in a relaxed and tranquil setting, the city’s favourite Thai fine-dining establishment is putting its own unique spin on the traditional Iftar menu.
Commencing at sunset, the three-course set menu comprises unlimited small dishes designed to be shared, starting with Thai specialities Plha Nuea Ma Khua Pho, grilled beef salad with eggplant, chili paste, lemongrass, garlic and lemon dressing, and Sate Gai, grilled marinated chicken sate, coconut milk, lemongrass, turmeric and peanut sauce. For vegetarians, the Poh Pia Thod, vegetable spring rolls with sweet chili sauce, is perfect to whet the appetite.
When it comes to the mains, there’s everything from Gaeng Khiew Wan Gai, green chicken curry, Thai eggplant, coconut shoot and Thai basil; Goong Gratiem Prik Thai, crispy prawns, garlic, coriander and green pepper sauce; and Kana Nuea Nam Man Hoy, wok fried beef, Thai broccoli, garlic, mushroom and oyster sauce. Tasty side dishes include Phad Phak Ruam Mitr, wok-fried vegetables with mushroom and soya sauce; and Kao Souy, steamed jasmine rice. Guests should also be sure to save room for dessert, which is served in the form of Tap Tim Krob, crispy water chestnut, sugar syrup, coconut milk and crushed ice.
For those not fasting, Pai Thai will be open for its Feast of Xahar every Friday and Saturday between 12.30-2.30pm. A true feast, guests are treated to unlimited ordering options of Thai classics such as Tom Yum Goong soup and Gaeng Panang Talay Curry, all for AED195 per person.
