Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates– From a four-day Peruvian cuisine festival and a weekly French-themed dinner to a limited-time menu of tea-infused granitas, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi hosts a culinary experience for every occasion throughout the month of March.
Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi welcomes back Chef Zuzumo, Buddha-Bar Asian Corporate Chef, as he puts on a Peruvian culinary festival like no other. Born in Lima to a Peruvian father and a Japanese mother, Chef Zuzumo has mastered the balance of the cuisine’s strong flavors and intrinsic cooking techniques.
Starting on March 6, this four-day food festival will showcase a variety of traditional foods from Peru like tiradito, causa, asado norteño and picante mixto. Guests can enjoy Chef Zuzumo’s creative twist to the wide variety of dishes between 7pm and 11pm until March 9, while taking in the uninterrupted views that Saadiyat beach has to offer.
Meanwhile, Olea launches a whole-new themed dinner called ‘French Riviera’. Every Saturday, the resort’s all-day dining restaurant offers a special buffet replete with regional specialties and fine wines from across France in addition to its popular Mediterranean dishes from 7pm until 11pm. The dinner, available for prices starting from AED 230, is ideal for those looking to discover the finesse of French cuisine and for fans of the classics like bouillabaisse, pumpkin gratin, ratatouille and tapenade.
Sontaya, an award-winning Asian restaurant, celebrates Thai cuisine from March 1 until 31 with a degustation menu. Designed to share between two persons, the ‘Degustation of Thailand’ menu gives guests the choice of three varied dining experiences: platters of starters for AED180; the main course for AED250; and desserts for AED90.
Over at the adjacent Pool and Beach, the resort’s chefs have created a dream combo of seafood pizza and hops for AED120. The promotion runs daily in March from noon until 5.30pm.
It’s hard to refuse a refreshing drink and The Drawing Room is prepping for the onset of summer with a lush ‘Time for Tea Granitas’ menu. Available throughout March from noon until 9pm, the limited-time menu includes gourmet iced teas with flavors like Moroccan mint tea, ginger and rose and blueberry chai Ceylon – for the incredible price of AED30.
Those who prefer to quench their thirst with something stronger can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at The Manhattan Lounge, which will serve unlimited house beverages for six hours straight. On March 17, guests are welcomed to join the revelries within its chic setting from 6pm until midnight and enjoy the beverage package for AED300.
