The private island resort is recognized as the ‘Best Pool Villa Resort in the Indian-Ocean’ at this year’s global award ceremony.
Abu Dhabi, 2017: The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has received one of the top categories at the 2017 Haute Grandeur Global Awards ceremony which took place in Bangkok on October 27th.
The ultra-luxury resort was presented with the ‘Best Pool Villa Resort in the Indian-Ocean’ award at the prestigious gala ceremony. The St. Regis Maldives was deserving of this award due to its 77 island and overwater villa accommodations, each with a private pool.
A highlight among the resort’s transcendent villas is the John Jacob Astor Estate. As the largest three-bedroom overwater villa in the Maldives, the two-storey villa showcases an impressive Olympic-size infinity swimming, a home theatre with state-of-the-art surround sound and private wellness centre. Guests of the estate can also enjoy a dedicated St. Regis Butler who provides around-the-clock customized services.
Upon receiving the awards, General Manager Alexander Blair said: “We are delighted to receive the golden stamp of excellence at the Haute Grandeur gala ceremony. Offering the most sought-after villas in the Maldives is one of our key objectives, so it is incredibly encouraging to be recognized for our efforts.”
