The warm summer nights are soon to be a thing of the past, and amongst other things this brings The Backyard back into play for ‘Season 2’ starting Sunday, October 8th, 2017.
The regular crowd, or ‘Backyarders’ as we like to call them know all about the cool urban vibe from the first season, and are going to love what the team have been busy with over the summer.To their usual favouriteswe’ve added loads of new twists – new events, totally re-jigged beverage menus with cool cocktails, and our new Thai Master Chef KhunAnan Tumya, who already has his Thai number plate on the food truck, ready to take it for a spin Bangkok style ! Coming from Dubai’s best Thai restaurant you can expect nothing less than authentic South East Asian and Thai Street food, with some twisted up Western dishes.
The street art graffiti, sweeping views of the Dubai Water Canal, and the new Wishing Tree all add to the fun of The Backyard. Tie your wishes on the tree and your next night out at The Backyard is on us – proof that dreams can come true!
By popular demand, the award winning DeeplikeThursdayz will launch Backyard’s new party season on Thursday, October 19th, 2017 with a grand opening event. Together with an action packed events calendar with something for everyone, there is something going on every night. Hoteliers, bankers, aircrew and retail get lucky every Sunday with a whopping 50% off on the food truck menu and select beverage, it is indeed going to be a ‘Hard Day’s Night’.For those wanting to go down memory lane –‘Time Machine’every Monday is just the answer featuring one iconic artist or band every week from the last 40 years. Get away from the buzz in the city and unwind on Tuesdays with ‘Movie Night’.
Back to the weekend, and Fridays are #Friyay! with AKS and pumping Bollywood beats getting it moving on the floor. Saturday’s get realwith DJ Rain all set to smash the deck with‘Greasy Thumb’– starting slow and smooth with R&B, and finishing late with Hip Hop from East Coast to West Coast. On all nights take ‘one or two for the road’ and carry on the party with an hour of shooters and slammers – watch for the ‘Midnight Hour’ every evening from midnight until 1am.
