HAKKASAN RESTAURANTS AROUND THE WORLD LAUNCH LOCALLY INSPIRED ‘ONLY AT’ MENUS
UAE 8TH SEPTEMBER 2016) This September, Hakkasan restaurants around the world will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original Hakkasan in London’s Hanway Place by launching local Only At dishes and cocktails. This special offering will represent the individuality of each restaurant and its location, featuring dishes and cocktails exclusive to each restaurant. The Only At menus celebrate local culture and cuisine, using seasonal ingredients whilst still using Hakkasan’s modern Chinese cooking techniques.
In the fifteen years since the first Hakkasan opened in London, eleven restaurants have opened globally in UK, China, India, US and Middle East. The Only At collection reflects Hakkasan’s ability to innovate and identify new ways to offer guests a unique culinary experience.
Unique dishes on the Only At menu at Hakkasan Dubai include Braised Supreme seabass broth with angelica root, Fried Scampi roll, Steamed Alaska king crab with black bean sauce and egg white and Baked tofu with minced chicken and Szechuan peppercorn. Cocktails include Silva Leaf made with Kome to Mizu Sake, passion fruit and Chinese five-spice syrup topped with Champagne and Cherry Blossom with Disaronno Amaretto, Choya plum umeshu, Peychaud’s bitters, lemon, lime, ginger and pasteurized egg white.
Meanwhile at Hakkasan Abu Dhabi, guests can expect dishes on the Only At The Palace menu such as Braised Superior seafood soup with black truffle and fish maw, Crispy wild prawn with foie gras sauce, Charcoal grilled silver cod in spicy honey sauce and Charcoal grilled Wagyu rib-eye beef with sea salt and lime dressing. Complementing the cuisine, cocktails include Pearl Sky comprising Hendrick’s Gin, rhubarb liqueur, yuzu, blackberry, wolfberry and lemon and Ginger Martini made using Plantation Grande Reserve 5 years old rum and topped with ginger, almond sugar and green apple juice.
Inspired by ingredients and flavours inherent to these regions, the Only At dishes and cocktails showcase local influences and expertise to create a unique collection. All eleven Hakkasan restaurants will feature a selection of small eats, main dishes, desserts and cocktails that will form the innovative Only At collection. These menus will change twice a year and have a strong emphasis on seasonality, highlighting the originality of each Hakkasan restaurant around the world.
The Only At collection will be available at Hakkasan Abu Dhabi and Hakkasan Dubai from Monday 26th September.
