The Vans x Kendra Dandy capsule collection is available at Vans retail stores from April.
Vans, the icon of creative expression lends its canvas to multitalented artist and illustrator, Kendra Dandy, to design a unique collection of imaginative illustrations across Vans footwear, apparel and accessories. Based in Philadelphia, Dandy is known for transforming her colorful illustrations into cheeky, smile-inducing patterns and her debut capsule collection for Vans is the perfect showcase of her personal creativity.
Drawing direct inspiration from the vibrant colors and playful nature of the ‘60s, the artist’s imaginative illustrations are featured across the Vans Authentic, women’s apparel and accessories. Pop art lovers will enjoy Dandy’s play on – prints as she decorates Vans’ iconic Checkerboard with a pastel mod eye, layers polka dots with ice cream designs, and dresses up black canvas with sassy, sunny-side up eggs. The graphic prints are carried across women’s apparel to include a carefully embroidered pocket detail on classic button up silhouettes, boldly printed crewnecks, and a colorful assortment of colorful backpacks, caps, socks and makeup pouches.
“I absolutely loved working with Vans on this special collaboration” shared Kendra Dandy. “It’s an amazing brand and this collection was a truly fun way to apply my art to create feminine, fun and bright patterns with a youthful appeal that will give customers something cool and unique to wear.”
