The iconic symbol of Dubai, the Dubai Frame is preparing for the inauguration pretty soon. One of the ambitious projects of Dubai will be installed at the Star Gate games and is all but complete.
Dubai’s Municipality has confirmed that work on the $43.5 million Dubai Frame project is 75 percent complete, and on course to be ready by December 2015. The project, shaped as a window frame, is sited near the Star Gate games and rides area of Zabeel Park.
Dubai Frame will allow panoramic views of Old Dubai and the skyline of New Dubai from each side.
In addition to the Dubai Frame, the municipal body is currently carrying out projects worth $462.8 million in the city, including the Dubai Fish Market, Dubai Safari, and Al Thuraya Observatory projects, according to Dubai Municipality’s director-general, Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah.
Work on certain projects has been carried forth from last year, and as such, these developments are governed by the previous budget.
The Municipality will complete nine projects in 2016, including the $83.1 million African Village phase of the Dubai Safari project, which is over 30 percent complete and due to open in Q3 2016.
The Dubai Frame will be a milestone project for Dubai. This will be another feather in the precious hat of Dubai. All the projects are meant for the Dubai to give a world class experience for both local residents and tourists.
