Following the success of its fitness initiative `MOE Active’ launched last month, Majid Al Futtaim’s Mall of the Emirates will host an exclusive indoor cycling event as part of its commitment to engage the community in a healthy and active lifestyle. The all-day event on September 16 will consist of five FlyWheel classes, each 43-minutes long, with 90 riders cycling to music. Classes start at 11am, 1pm, 4pm, 6:30pm and 9pm in the mall’s Central Galleria and are open to novices and seasoned riders. Participants are invited to be at the mall at least 30 minutes before each class starts.

As self-motivation is usually the most challenging aspect of well-being, this Saturday fitness influencers – Nike Athlete Essa Al Ansari, Adidas Athlete Nessa Rassouli, Lululemon Ambassador David Labouchere and Megan Joy author and coach kick start their own journey. This one of a kind event, exclusive to Mall of the Emirates, will be supported by mall retailers Asics, Lululemon and Common Grounds.
The signature event compliments Majid Al Futtaim’s regional campaign ‘Feel the Beat’ which aims to spread awareness on cardiovascular disease for prevention and early detection.

All participating shopping malls will have allocated areas to host medical professionals who will administer complimentary hearth health tests and conduct check-ups for women. At each designated location, visitors will be able to check their blood pressure, blood sugar and Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine if they are at risk of heart diseases and if they would require a follow-up consultation for further analysis.
Participants are encouraged to visit Mall of the Emirates for testing and check-ups from September 28 – 30.
