As the trend for classic British eateries continues to grow in the region, the likes of Reform Social & Grill, Tom & Serge, The Scene and Table 9 have all opened their doors in the last 12 months, offering a home away from home for British expats.
Reform Social & Grill is a prime example of a relaxed dining restaurant flying the flag for British cuisine and was a lead concept for the growing trend. Recently hailed as Dubai’s ‘Favourite British Restaurant’ by What’s On Dubai magazine, their offerings include (but are not limited to) classic Sunday roasts, a Great British Fish & Chip Shop Takeaway and home-made ice-cream parlour.
In celebration of Reform Social & Grill’s first birthday, the restaurant has recently expanded their quintessentially British offering through creating a new outdoor spot, ‘The Orchard’, a haven for big kids (childfree) which is home to a selection of fruit beverages and brews. With incredible lake side views and a lush green garden, it’s the perfect setting for a birthday get together or corporate function.
Naim Maadad, CEO of Gates Hospitality and the man behind this independent eatery here in Dubai said: “Reform Social & Grill has had a fantastic first year thanks hugely to the support of not only residents in The Lakes but also those from across Emirates Living and wider Dubai. With ample parking, a family friendly atmosphere and all-day dining options, we feel we offer a home away from home eatery with homemade British cuisine”.
Reform Social and Grill will be awarded with their accolade at the What’s On Dubai Awards 2014 ceremony this Wednesday 19th November.
