Thursday is set to get a whole lot funnier as an eloquent combination of two Indians, a Bahraini and an American stand-up comedians head to Dubai for performing their show, 50 Shades of Brown, and happily take a dig at the idiosyncrasies of human race in the Arab world, on February 23, 2017 at Boudoir Club at 8pm.
The show will be hosted by ace comedian Tony Abraham.
Comedians Adnan Nalwala, who’s widely-known as Oman’s Jokey Boy, Daniel Fernandes- whose wit outshines his humour on topical subject matter and GCC’s finest comedian Imran Al Aradi are gearing to bring together a unique brand of hilarity to the two-hour show.
Speaking about the show, Adnan Nalwala, said, “I’m really excited to be able to do it for more people in Dubai this year. Stand-up comedy is more out of passion for the art, and hence I wanted to put together a show that lovers of comedy and music would enjoy. It’ll be fun to bring out 50 Shades of Brown in an unpredictable way with some of my favorite artists. So, yeah, I’m pumped to make people laugh with the big boys of the industry-Daniel Fernandes, Imran Al Aradi and Tony.”
Echoing similar thoughts, Imran Al Aradi stated that it’s going to be great evening of entertainment, and Dubai loves it comedy which will bring people together uniting them in laughter. “I have shared the stage with Adnan several times, but it’s the first time around with Daniel. So, I am really excited about that as well. We expect tickets to go fast, so grab your friends, family and colleagues and join us,” added Aradi.
Organised by Long Banana Events, which hosts comedy nights every week at the Boudoir and GQ club in Dubai, the show “50 Shades of Brown” will cater to Hinglish crowd.
In addition, Daniel Fernandes elaborated, “Comedy is fast gaining momentum in Dubai, making it an amazing venue to perform. I’m not going to hunt through all of my material and find the best ones, in fact I’m going to give people the best of me. I haven’t performed with Adnan and Imran before, so I’m looking forward to it and let the audience have a good time.”
