The legalities that are involved in the fostering of puppies in UAE demand that a person, who wants the pet must acquire a license from the government. Acquiring a license is not a big deal in UAE. One only needs to find a nearest pet store or register online to UAE websites which offer cheap licensing service for pets. From these stores and websites not only can one get a pet license but also choose their choice of puppy from lot of various options. One should bear it in mind that selling and buying animals and pets in UAE is a criminal offence and is treated with severe penalties. Another condition that one needs to be following when fostering puppies in UAE is that dogsand other pets need to be vaccinated against rabies every year. This is stated by law. In many other countries veterinarians use individual vaccinations and rabies vaccination is usually approved for 2-3 year. Moreover if one is importing or bringing their puppies in emirate the need to meet one further condition. It is recommended to check one’spet vaccination records after importing them into Dubai or any other Emirate.
Apart from these conditions, one also need to fulfill the Veterinary Services Section of the Public Health Department which has issued a directive that all dogs and cats of the Emirates must have a microchip implanted and that all relevant information must be recorded. To microchip your pet will be necessary when you want to travel with your pet or when registering your pet at an insurance company. It is also the best way to identify lost pets and reunite them with their owners. There one wishing to foster puppies in UAE must comply with this veterinary services section.
One should also know that in UAE, dogs are not allowed to enter parks or walk on any beach. The only beach where dogs are allowed on is Jebel Ali Public Beach which is located next to Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa. All other places, dogs must be kept on the lead. There are some lakes one can walk around but one will be required to clean puppies waste.
These conditions may sound bit odd but they are introduced in public welfare. Though it may be bit different than USA or Europe but one can foster puppies in UAE.
