Eying the Healthy Life, Abu Dhabi has seen yet another cause driven activity. The Al Forsan International Sports Resort has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Sports council for a series of competitions starting from February 27. It has been informed that the regular entrance fee and parking fee have been waived off in order to attract more people to promote healthy life.
Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ruler of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council Sports Challenges aims to encourage UAE residents to embrace a healthier and more active and healthy lifestyle.
The first competition of the event comes in the form of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council Grand Prix, which will hold its first round on the 27 of February, followed by the second round on the 13 of March, and the last and third round on the 3 of April.The overall winning price for each race is estimated at around AED16,000 ($4,356).
Second on the calendar is the Abu Dhabi Sports Council Bull’s Eye Shooting Competition, which will be held daily from March 1 to April 30, and which aims to bring together new and advanced shooters to compete in daily rounds from March 1 to April 30.As for awards, cash prizes will vary from AED8,000 for first place, AED4,000 for second place, and AED2,000 for third place, for the Senior Divisions.
For the juniors, the prizes vary from AED4,000 for first place, AED2000 for second place, and AED1,000 for third place.In addition to its shooting club, the Al Forsan Sports Resort provides an array of sports activities, such as horseback riding, watersports, and paintball.
Healthy Lifestyle does not come by sitting at home. The physical exercise is required and so is the enthusiasm. The charm is required for the healthy life and the opportunity is providing the same.
