UAE has been the starting point for many projects. After Harper’s Bazaar Arabia which created new dimensions in fashion, the expertly curated Harper’s Bazaar café is ready for the launch in UAE.
The UAE is set to be home to the world’s first Harper’s Bazaar Café, with ten planned across the region by the end of the decade, backers behind the project announced this week.
UAE retail firm Marka and US magazine publisher Hearst Magazines International have struck a deal to operate the venues and the first one is set to open in the UAE before November 2015, followed by nine more across the Middle East through 2020. The venues are promising to offer vibrant food, fashion and art in the spirit of the fashion magazine and its heritage.
Hearst Magazines International, a unit of Hearst Corporation, publishes 285 magazines and 200 websites in 34 languages and 81 countries. In addition to Harper’s Bazaar, which was first published in 1867, other major titles include Cosmopolitan, Elle, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Popular Mechanics, and Seventeen.
The Harper’s Bazaar café is a project which can translates the vision of changing lifestyle vision of UAE. However, the time can only tell about the impact of the Harper’s Bazaar café.
