France is on the menu on March 21st and the French restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, is one of few to represent the classic cuisine in the UAE.
Abu Dhabi, 20 March 2018 – Love French food? Join Bord Eau on March 21st as it celebrates the cuisine along with more than 3,000 restaurants across 150 countries.
As part of the global ‘Goût de France’ (Good France) team for 2018, the award-winning French restaurant hosts a five-course dinner with a set menu created especially for the day to honour French gastronomy.
Chef de cuisine Jimmy de Almeida welcomes all to participate in this great celebration on March 21st and to pay tribute to the culinary tradition of France, which values high-quality, innovative, and environmentally responsible cuisine.
Priced at AED 360*, the menu will be served from 6.30pm until 11.30pm and starts with a homemade spring pie of stewed baby vegetables, and followed by a fillet of John Dory. The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the honey-roasted duck breast served with smoked cauliflower puree and spring vegetables.
For a truly French finish, the meal is completed with a serving of Brillat-Savarin cheese, apple chutney cider vinegar and walnut bread followed by an irresistible slice of cherry cake with yogurt sorbet and fresh almonds. For an additional AED 280*, guests can enjoy a variety of fine French wines carefully paired with each dish.
