But you can now look forward to buying second hand items from the Dubai Flea Market. It is a market dedicated specially to second hand items only on a non-commercial basis. Individuals can privately buy and sell their stuffs and you have the advantage to see and the check product before purchasing it. The Dubai Flea Market can be found at Al Safa Park on 5th October 2013 from 8 am to 3 pm and Uptown Mirdiff on 11th October 2013 from 2 pm to 7 pm. The flea market can also be found at Za’abeel Hall and Dubai World Trade Centre on the first Saturday of each month. It will also be available at more places in the coming months.
Selling at Dubai Flea Market
The Dubai Flea Market allows you to book a stall where you can exhibit your second hand stuffs for sale purpose. The only requirement is in order to get a stall you need to be a private individual and shouldn’t have any intention to sell on commercial basis. You should avoid trying to promote your business products if incase you own one. Any used material can be sold and handmade craft work can be kept for sale.
The fee to book your stall is AED 270 at Al Safa Park and AED 250 at Al Mirdiff Uptown. The booking of the stall can be done online at www.dubai-fleamarket.com. The stall will include a table, two chairs and an official exhibitor badge.
Though it is assured that no fake products would be sold but even then you have to keep check about the quality of the product yourself because it is you who is investing money into that item so for your own satisfaction and to avoid any disappointment you must check the stuff thoroughly before paying.
