With the announcement of Drake coming to Dubai in March, the entire emirate went crazy with excitement. The Canadian rapper is loved by the young population in the city and is waiting to attend his concert. As though it wasn’t enough that Michael Bublé is coming to Dubai on 12 and 13 March, now Drizzy is also going to be following the crooner as he lines up to play at Dubai International Stadium on Saturday 14 March.
The excitement level in the city was soaring after the Canadian rapper disclosed to perform in the city. The awesome Canadian rapper is the biggest name I’ve ever heard to cause this much anticipation and fuss in the region! It’s pretty understandable, given his prolific chart record and the sheer number of hits he’s had, such as Best I Ever Had, Worst Behaviour and Crew Love. I can’t wait to see him finally perform here, and I know from an insider that loads of promoters have tried to bring him out here before, but he charges so much money that it’s been impossible to tie him down until now, said one of his admirers.
Speaking of performances, Drake mentioned, I’ve had my slot at RedFestDXB confirmed and now I can officially reveal that I’ll be singing my song I’m Famous right before Iggy Azalea hits the stage on Friday 13 February! To say I’m nervous is an understatement – I’m not a performer. It was scary enough singing in front of a crowd, but to do it as a warm-up act ahead of someone as talented as Iggy is terrifying. I’ve brought in some local dancers who’ll do their thing behind me, but hopefully I won’t fall flat on my face or anything when I try and strut my stuff.
The entire city is waiting eagerly with lots of anticipation on the numbers that Drake with perform.
