DUBAI PARKS AND RESORTS ORGANIZES A FUN-FILLED MARATHON IN SUPPORT OF THE DUBAI FITNESS CHALLENGE

Dubai, 07 November 2017: Dubai Parks and Resorts, the region’s largest integrated theme park destination, has accepted His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s challenge to support Dubai in becoming the most active city in the world. In-line with the Dubai Fitness Challenge agenda, Dubai Parks and Resorts is organizing an 8km fun-run set to take place on Saturday 11th November at the entertainment destination from 7:00am until 8:30am.
The fun-run will offer participants an interactive way to spend quality time with friends and family while getting active and achieving their Dubai30x30 goals in the beautiful outdoor weather. This unmissable occasion is open for everyone and free of charge. Free transportation to the destination will be provided with two pick up points set up at Mall of the Emirates (2 Busses/ departure at 6:10 AM), and Ibn Battuta Metro Station (2 Busses/departure at 6:30 AM). Moreover, free parking will be available at the VIP Parking area.
Winners of the Dubai Parks and Resort’s fun-run will be announced at the awarding ceremony following the marathon at 9:00am. Participants can look forward to a variety of valuable prizes such as a one-night stay at Lapita™ Hotel, the Polynesian themed family hotel within the destination for 3 female and 3 male winners and 30 free annual passes allowing the winners to enjoy the destination all year round.
