Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah has announced the launch of a new culinary partnership with internationally acclaimed three-star Michelin chef and author Heinz Beck.
The New York-inspired offering ‘Social by Heinz Beck’ is the latest fine-casual dining concept to be added to Dubai’s burgeoning restaurant landscape.
A statement said the new restaurant combines a fine culinary experience with a casual atmosphere with a “range of artfully created dishes drawing on the extensive experience of one of Europe’s best known maestros of cuisine”.
Featuring 319 guest rooms, two swimming pools and six bars and restaurants, the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, which opened last month, marks the fourth Dubai hotel in Al Habtoor’s hospitality portfolio.
Room prices started from AED1,800 ($490) to AED3,000 a night.
With over 20 years culinary experience, multi-award winning chef Beck is regarded as a legend in gastronomic circles due to his tenure at La Pergola – the three-starred Michelin restaurant at the famous Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts.
His latest venture at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah will combine Beck’s culinary flair and unique talent in a social and inviting urban-resort restaurant setting, the statement said.
The diverse menu will include signature dishes including grilled tuna with wasabi mayonnaise, almonds and amaretti to start and soya poached beef fillet with black truffle and radicchio stuffed for mains. The desserts reflect the chef’s originality, including his secretive signature dessert, Raspberries 1.0.
