A group of Finnish female entrepreneurs from the fields of wellness and design are coming to Dubai on the 11th of November, during the Dubai Design Week. The groups’ aim is to meet local media, investors, and buyers.
One of the project’s initiators, creator of the wellness brand Zenestar, interior architect Susanna Halla tells about this new way to promote small designer businesses from Finland to Dubai’s market:
“After touring around Finland, we found around 50 companies interested in to export their products to the UAE. In November the first six companies are coming to Dubai in order to scan the market. We greatly appreciate Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Finland, H.E. Noura Mohammed Abdul Hameed Jumaa, her help in our project has been invaluable.”
Ms. Halla names intercultural cooperation, creating trade relations, and genuine encounters as their goals in this project.
“We have especially encouraged new innovative companies to use this chance to create networks in the UAE. We come to Dubai to listen the customers’ needs and wishes, not only to sell ready solutions. Of course we also want to keep a close eye on the Dubai Expo 2020 preparations.”
