The search for a talented singer in UAE is on. The best of the best singing competition organized by Gems Education provider is looking out for the best child singer in the country. Soon the sixth edition of the competition will go live.
The auditions, which are open to students aged 9 to 12-years old who can perform in English, are set to begin on Saturday, October 11th, at Our Own English High School in Al Warqa’a from 10am to 1pm.
Additional auditions will be held on Monday, October 13th at The Winchester School, Jebel Ali from 1pm to 3pm and Tuesday, October 14th at The Millennium School, Al Ghusais from 2pm to 4pm. The finalists from the first round will be asked to go through to a second round at the end of October, with the finals due to take place in December.
“We have seen several talented singers in the country over the span of five years who can perform amazingly. This year also we are looking forward to bring in budding young talent and give them a platform to perform,” said Kevin Oliver, Cultural Coordinator for the group.
Last year, the Best of the Best had over 3000 entries and auditions. Students came from diverse ethnic backgrounds and sung everything from country music to jazz, pop, classical and semi-classical, rap and blues.
In coming days we will see many enthusiastic and talented child singers performing on the stage the best of best competition.
