There is nothing better than wearing a home brand which is inspired by a theme of the home. Yes, Baruni has come up with a The Queen of the Sand, inspired by the Desert Landscape Theme.
Baruni, a home-grown women’s fashion brand, has unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2015 collection under the title The Queen of the Sands which evokes the strength and regal qualities of the desert. The founder of the label, Fadwa Baruni, says she was inspired by the UAE’s Sahara (desert) to create a collection of 30 different designs for ladies.
This collection is now available to order for the wide range of boutiques and department stores in the region. The design phase is complete and the collection will go into production in May to be in the stores by August.
The Queen of the Sands reflects shades and textures of the desert. The colors range from beige, yellow, deep green, brown and purple reflecting the different colors of the desert from dawn to sunset. The collection is targeted for women aged between 25 and 50. Many of the pieces are for day-to-day use with its loose comfortable cut, while others are designed for glamorous nights-out and special occasions. Rich colors and distinctive textures combine to create a visual feast.
Baruni will be offering the new Autumn/Winter collection in several stores across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait from September.
The fabrics and cuts reflect the fluid shapes of the dune-sand the spirit of the Queen of the Sands.
In the UAE, Baruni collections are available at Professional Boutique in Dubai Mall, Salam Studios and Stores in Mirdiff City Centre Mall and House of Fraser in World Trade Centre Mall.
The Designers have made sure that all the landscapes and the beauty of the desert is depicted on the fashion. There is a vast diversity and impulsiveness in desert and the fashion has tried to reflect the same. The Queen of Sand has plenty to offer for the women who can wear anything for any occasion.
