In upcoming International textile fair, more than 200 exhibitors were estimated to showcase their products. The event is mainly aimed to offer platform for emerging and talented Emirati fashion and clothing in Dubai. The textile fair is expected to attract several designers from Asian countries including China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Indonesia and Italy. The fair is due to be held from November 3 to 4, 2014.
Manufacturers of fashion, home and industrial textiles will showcase their pre-collections for Spring/Summer 2015 and Autumn/Winter seasons.
The textile fair event’s vast display of exhibits will also include natural, synthetic and plant fibers, as well as industry-related components like computer aided design and production systems and textile’s or clothes’ color cards.
In addition to the exhibitors, visitors from UAE, Oman, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and other Gulf nations will attend the two-day event.
The list of visitors will be comprised of garment exporters and manufacturers, buying houses and agents, departmental store owners, apparel brands, fashion designers and merchandisers, design studios and institutes, and fabric importers, distributors and wholesalers alongside trade body representatives and media.
To be held twice annually, the International Textile Fair’s debut edition is supported by the Textile Merchants Group (TEXMAS), an organization that represents about 800 Dubai-based wholesale textile traders.
The city is home to as many as 150 fashion houses, which are expected to get limelight in upcoming textile fair. The organizers of the event are hoping to highlight fresh talents at the fair.
