You can also get to eat shawarma in Dubai at Café Blanc in Dubai Mall or Marina Mall. Apart from a mouthwatering and cleanly served shawarma sandwich or platter, the detectable part about this place is its ambiance. The furnishing of Café Blanc is very cozy and comfortable thus providing its customers a relaxing experience after a hard day’s work. The chicken of the shawarma is seasoned slightly with nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom. Also the pitta bread is thicker than usually found in other restaurants.
Jimmy the Greek at Dubai Mall
This one could be a little costly but it gives a Greek form to the traditional shawarma wrap. Here, the shawarma wrap has got thick pitta bread which is filled with thin slices of roasted lamb and drizzled with onions, tomato and fresh tzatziki sauce. Anyone trying out this hearty shawarma sandwich would wish that there were other places like this in town.
Al Mallah at Dhiyafah Street
This is a small café offering shawarma wraps and one could either keep it a short trip for snacks in the evening or go for a light dinner. The meat is tender and you get to chose between chicken and lamb. There are no fries in the wrap, but their garlic sauce, tahini and the spices used makes it one of a kind. Keep it in mind that if you want to eat it as a substitute for food then you better order more than one.
Bilad al Sham
Bilad al Sham is situated in Qusais and is surrounded by a busy bustling road. You could either dine in or wait in the long queue for takeaway. The meat at Bilad al Sham is slightly crisp and one could tailor the ingredient as they want or don’t want in their shawarma. Unlike other shawarma in Dubai, their ones are not very juicy that it starts dripping on your hands and so one could even enjoy it in their car.
