Cove Beach, the new luxury dining and leisure destination will remain open during the summer months and throughout Ramadan, offering a perfect opportunity to sample their exquisite Mediterranean menu in a sleek and contemporary setting.
Inspired by the Mediterranean Riviera and specifically the Greek Islands of Mykonos and Paros, Cove Beach boasts a minimalistic sophisticated interior space, designed by Fady Chams, the Managing Director and his team at Prospect Design International.
Using simple décor and a white colour scheme, the team aimed for a pure look drawing in the beauty of nature. Cove Beach integrates graceful lines and stylish shapes in a timeless palette of greys, fuchsia and off-whites, making it a natural extension of its surroundings. Natural materials like timber and seashell were used highlighting the stunning seafront location with ocean-inspired patterns.
Cove Beach welcomes guests through a narrow hallway, leading into the open restaurant with signature large floor to ceiling windows providing a natural transition between the indoor and outdoor space. The main dining area is split in the middle by a long catwalk providing depth and a great platform for fashion shows. One of the main design features is located directly above the catwalk – a custom made light feature pointing towards the direction of the waterfront and allowing natural light.
At the top of the restaurant, as soon as guests walk in, a sleek long bar, lit by wooden light pendants from Secto Design is located and the horizontal mirror reflecting the beach view is reinforcing yet again the natural element and location of the beach club.
The internal bar, also offers a relaxed sitting area with cushioned blue chairs providing a great contrast to the white-washed walnut wood.
The restaurant chairs are supplied by Dedon whilst the tables and booth seating are designed by Prospect Design International with polished white wood and veneer inserts for contrast. The white booths are decorated by pillows designed by Deny Designs displaying ocean imagery including waves, pebbles in white, pearl and turquoise colours.
Impressive as the indoor space is, the outdoor venue is equally tranquil and stylish with a main staircase leading on to the pool, Rose Bar and a private beach with super-sized sunbeds. The picturesque Rose bar adds a splash of colour with the back-lit bright pink bougainvillea tiles by DG Mosaic. The barstools, tables and chairs by Pedrali add a relaxed setting for the winter months.
‘The objective was to create a unique destination, unlike anything else in Dubai and positioned directly at sea, where guests can transition from day to night and feel relaxed yet stylish in an exclusive haven – a cove. Cove Beach was the perfect location, right on the waterfront offering an elegant and intimate space for both daytime lounging and evening dining’ says Salalah Office Management Services’ Anne Schneider.
In addition, to the outstanding interior design, Cove Beach boasts exceptional food. Led by the talented Chef Vergan Roberts and Chef Nicola Fontolan, Cove Beach employs the concept of ‘Cuisine de la Joie’, or in other words, ‘simple yet tastefully refined’ dishes offering Mediterranean inspired gourmet cuisine.
Set against one of the most iconic backdrops in Dubai, the mesmerising Burj Al Arab, and the tranquil waves of the Arabian Sea, Cove Beach is the ideal escape in the city, blending luxury and leisure in an elegantly minimalistic and contemporary setting and a passion for life.
Cove Beach is open 7 days a week, from 9am to 3am. Cove Beach will remain open during Ramadan.
