Are you kind of a person who love to do adventures then we have some news that will thrill your adventurous buds. A new in-store go-karting facility has been launched in Ras Al Khaimah, within the Lulu group operated RAK Mall. Dubbed the Middle East’s first-ever in-mall go-karting facility, Go-K will be operated by Augusta Re Consulting, an Italian engineering company.
The 10,000 sq ft attraction is expected to draw additional visitors from across the country to RAK Mall – a division of Lulu Group International – which operates the mall.
Raja Abdul Khader, director of Line Investments & Property said that RAK Mall features the 100th Lulu Hypermarket and as it enters its third year, it has evolved as the favorite leisure, shopping and entertainment destination for residents of Ras Al Khaimah.
Height requirement to ride the go-karts is 1.25 metres and above. The circuit will also be constantly monitored by professional go-karting experts to ensure safety, the company said.
Kart racing or karting is a variant of open-wheel motorsport with small, open, four-wheeled vehicles called karts, go-karts, or gearbox/shifter karts depending on the design. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits. Karting is commonly perceived as the stepping stone to the higher and more expensive ranks of motorsports.
