The secluded tropical setting of Velaa Private Island in the Noonu Atoll is being transformed into a Brazilian-inspired carnival celebration with a programme of events running from February 7 to 12 as part of Carnival Week.
The culinary entertainment concept of Carnival at Velaa allows guests to indulge in their cultural appetite with signature Brazilian dishes and get engulfed in live entertainment.

With 12 years of experience, Brazilian Fantasy’s dancers have performed stunning Brazilian Dance shows on the world’s most famous stages with and for A-list celebrities. The dance group will perform two shows on February 8 and 10 to recreate the salsa and samba rhythms of the Rio Carnival with an enthralling Brazilian ambience of live music and dancers in colourful and sequined outfits.
