Combination of Brunch Courses on Display and Served Individually at the Table Suits Every Palate
February 14th, 2018, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Just ahead of the venue’s one-year anniversary COYA Abu Dhabi’s Friday brunch has a wealth of new flavours set to appeal to palates all across the capital. A combination of well-loved Peruvian favorites and some seasonal additions ensure a celebratory afternoon for all guests.
The culinary journey begins with a range of starters including corn and quinoa salads, tuna and salmon tacos, a selection of Latin-inspired maki rolls, and causa – a traditional Peruvian potato-based terrine. New flavors now available to inspire a hearty brunch appetite include a Causa Amarillo with crabmeat, and waygu rib maki with wasabi.
One of Coya Abu Dhabi’s brunch mainstays are the dishes served to the table, delivering a range of unique tastes ideal for sharing, including the new bao of veal belly with barbeque sauce. The most popular table dishes are the freshest ceviches, including sea bream and salmon, complemented by tiradito or sliced raw fish reflecting a Japanese influence, including yellowtail and amberjack. A selection of anticuchos – seasoned and grilled meat, brought sizzling to the table, include mushroom, chicken, and veal varieties.
Now fully immersed in Coya Abu Dhabi’s menu and ambiance, brunch guests can each select a main course, ranging from grilled chicken or salmon and spicy beef to a seabass cazuela, a delicious Peruvian stew with corn puree.
The most dynamic change to the venue’s Friday brunch is a lush, inviting new dessert display, featuring at least six choices of fruit-based or savory sweets. More traditional Peruvian desserts include tres leches and cheesecake flavoured with maracuya or passionfruit, and homemade picanones, a kind of donut, with chica morada – a purple corn juice. Coya Abu Dhabi’s brunch is also rounded off with hazelnut coffee cake and both apple and lime tarts.
“Fridays in the capital are best celebrated with loved ones and friends, in a colourful and delicious environment – making Coya Abu Dhabi’s brunch an ideal environment. We have created some seasonal new additions that reflect both Peruvian delicacies and influences from other cultures, combing the social element of dishes served centrally and those based on the choices of our guests, served at the table – it’s a weekly feast for your senses,” said Stefano Pizzini, General Manager, Coya Abu Dhabi.
Making its Friday brunch experience as accessible as possible, Coya Abu Dhabi has also refreshed its pricing while increasing the quantity of food choices on offer for guests.
