Omnia Baharat Restaurant re-launched its cuisine, introducing exciting Indian street food and therefore renamed itself as Omnia Baharat Indian Kitchen. This weekend, the restaurant residing in the Mall of the Emirates has a new look and feel. The establishment hosted a buzzing launch event for more than 70 food fanatics to celebrate the new innovative dishes and inspired interiors, hosted by Omnia Baharat Celebrity Chef, the world renowned Silvena Rowe.
A destination within a destination, Omnia Baharat takes guests on a culinary adventure through taste and time. Showcasing ancient delicacies in a modern setting, celebrating the riotous flavours of Indian street food, whilst seamlessly fusing local flavours, brought to life with fun touches of molecular gastronomy.
Executive Chef and restaurateur Silvena Rowe has carefully created a menu that utilises only the freshest ingredients with highlights including the mighty King Grill. A selection of soft paneer and tender grilled meats are accompanied by light and fluffy biryani rice and homemade ‘achar’ (Traditional Indian pickled preserve) to add that extra zing, for a burst of flavour that Indian street food is famous for. Another highlight from the menu is a Middle-Eastern favorite with a twist. The Creamy Velvety Hummus combined with popping crystals provides a surprising kick in every bite. Promising to tantalize both the eyes and the taste-buds the Golden Sphere, a hollowed candy golden bowl filled with dark chocolate and cardamom mousse, sprinkled with lime zest and served with vanilla ice-cream and mojito cloud is the perfect sweet finish.
