Gabriel Gusta brings 6 years of recreation management experience including, tour operations, designing and implementing new recreational activities, public relations and marketing.

Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, 22 December 2021: Gabriel Gusta, a travel and tourism professional with significant experience in international recreation experiences, has recently been appointed as the Recreation Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert. Gabriel originally joined the The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah team as a Ranger and Environment Ambassador in 2016, and has now been promoted to facilitate a wide variety of recreational activities at the Al Wadi property.

With a background in launching VIP and private activities as a tour guide, Gabriel brings his extensive knowledge and specialization in 5-star hospitality industries and Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Travel and Recreation Management to enrich the property’s recreational offerings. During his tenure, Gabriel has introduced customized itineraries and popular nature programs including bird watching, a nature drive and the Ritz Kids Ranger excursions and always receives glowing feedback on guest review platforms.

In Gabriel’s new managerial role, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the nature-bound activities that outline the resort’s offerings. Gabriel will also be tasked with introducing new environmental initiatives that strengthen the position of The Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert as a must-visit destination with its stunning desert backdrop and rare flora and fauna such as the Arabian Oryx, Sand Gazelle, Blackbucks and more. 

Aligning his goals and experience with the brand’s pillars of environmental and sustainable activities, Gabriel will lead and produce meaningful consumer journey experiences. Having been a speaker at various forums on tourism, recreation and environmental research Gabriel will implement immersive activities through the resort’s ‘Adventure Center’ and Gabriel aims to inspire, teach and showcase to guests through the resort’s array of nature experiences, including, but not limited to, bird watching sessions, nature drives, archery sessions and stargazing. Having recently been part of Ras Al Khaimah’s sustainable tourism practices with the Arabian Oryx conservation, Gabriel is known to champion the need for eco-conscious recreational activities that elevate the unique and memorable nature-bound experiences offered to each guest at the 1,235 acres protected nature reserve.

Gabriel will also continue coordinating with The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert resort internal departments, and the recreational team to identify and maintain continuous contact with external activity operators.
