Cricket and Bollywood fans in the UAE are in for treat after it was announced there’ll be even more top-class batsman, bowlers and B-Town broadcast on the box.
Pay-channel OSN’s purchase of Pehla – the largest pay-provider in South Asia – will see 40 channels in Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Tamil and Malayalam added to the network – including coverage of the ICC Cricket World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy, ICC World Twenty20 and Champions League on CricOne and Ten Cricket.
OSN already has the rights to The Ashes series and The Champions League Twenty20.
The channel will also now pick up “the best of Bollywood”, Butorac said at the announcement in Dubai, with Sony Max, Star Gold, UTV Movies International and Zee Cinema all added.
